Privacy Policy
Updated October 26, 2026 · Chicago Business Intermediary LLC
This notice explains information handling for this website and initial inquiries. Information shared during an engagement is also subject to the applicable written agreements.
Website Visits
The website does not require an account or accept payments. Its pages do not use analytics or advertising trackers, set cookies, or save inquiry details in browser storage. The contact form keeps entered details in the current page while an inquiry is being prepared or retried.
The hosting provider may process technical information, such as an IP address, browser information, requested pages, and request times, to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from information voluntarily sent to the firm.
Website and Email Inquiries
The inquiry forms send the inquiry type, name, email address, message, and any optional website or professional profile link to the firm through the website’s hosting service. A private server record supports receipt and duplicate prevention, and an email notification is sent to the firm. Confirmation means that the inquiry was recorded and the notification was accepted for sending; it does not guarantee email delivery. The form does not accept file uploads. Direct email links remain available and open an email application.
We use inquiry information to respond, assess potential work, and continue the requested conversation. The hosting and email providers process the information needed to support those services. Short-lived security tokens and keyed network-address hashes help prevent abuse and duplicate submissions; the form does not use advertising tracking.
Specialists and Service Providers
Email, hosting, and other service providers may process information as needed to support those services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
Where specialists are involved, the agreed scope defines their roles, responsibilities, and information needs. A specialist may work within the firm's delivery arrangements or under a separate client engagement. Relevant confidentiality and data-handling terms belong in those agreements.
A professional inquiry about partnership may include the firm's expertise, relevant work, and availability. We use that information to consider potential delivery work.
Retention and Sensitive Information
Website receipt records are removed during contact-service cleanup once they are more than thirty days old. Short-lived abuse-prevention records are kept separately. Copies in the firm’s email and engagement records may be retained for the inquiry, any resulting work, and applicable recordkeeping or legal obligations. A deletion request may be limited by those obligations.
An initial inquiry should contain only the context needed to discuss the work. Identity documents, account credentials, detailed financial records, and confidential client files belong in an agreed sharing process. Ordinary email is not guaranteed to be secure, and an introductory message does not itself create a confidentiality agreement.
Privacy Requests
Requests about access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information can be sent to the address below. The available rights and any required response depend on applicable law. Identity confirmation may be needed before information is disclosed or changed.
Changes to This Notice
This notice will be updated when the website or the described information handling changes. The date above identifies the latest revision. Separate engagement agreements continue to govern the work they cover.
